Address and owner-name entries in a search box go to the outside company that supplies those results. The site operator does not keep a local copy of each search. If you send a message, only the details in that message reach us, and we use them to respond.
Routine Server Information
The hosting service records ordinary technical logs such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and access times. Aggregate log data helps maintain the site and identify useful pages. Basic analytics or advertising measurement may also use cookies or similar tools where enabled.
How the Information Is Used
Technical information supports site operation, trouble-shooting, traffic measurement and page improvements. We do not sell visitor lists or assemble profiles about named individuals.
Privacy at Linked Services
County Clerk, Assessor, tax and GIS links lead to public offices, while sponsored search results may lead to independent companies. Each outside service has its own privacy rules. Information submitted there is handled under that service's policy, not this one.
Service Providers and Disclosures
Hosting and support vendors process log data to keep the reference online. Where analytics or advertising tools operate, their providers may receive the automatic information noted above. We disclose information when valid legal process requires it.
Security and Retention
The site uses an encrypted connection. Server logs are retained only for the operational purposes described in this policy. Because there are no user accounts, the site holds no account password or visitor profile.
Children's Information
The property-record reference is intended for adults, not children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a person under 18. Contact us if you believe a minor has sent information so we can review and remove it.
Your Choices and Public Records
Depending on your location, applicable law may give you rights to access, correct or delete personal information a private service holds. The research for this site identified West Virginia's Freedom of Information Act, W.Va. Code ยงยง29B-1-1 et seq., which governs access requests for records held by public bodies; it does not govern visitor data on this private reference. We hold little visitor information. Use the Contact page for a request about the site. Public property records held by Wyoming County or West Virginia offices must be corrected or challenged through the office that keeps them.
